Televised Sporting Events

Major local and international sporting events are shown on the large-screen TV in the lounge area. Residents are encouraged to come and support their teams and join in on the fun, excitement, and camaraderie.

Guest Speakers

We regularly host guest speakers who cover a variety of interesting topics, ensuring residents have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and engage in meaningful discussions.

Socials

Occasionally, we organize themed evenings that give residents the chance to dress up and enjoy a night of dancing and celebration.

Organized outings to local places of interest allow residents to explore the beauty and attractions of the surrounding areas, fostering a sense of adventure and camaraderie.

Pets

Sandown is a pet-friendly village, and residents are allowed to keep one (1) dog which in the opinion of the Trustees fits the description of a small house breed, and one (1) cat. Kindly note that fencing is required for dogs and the installation cost will be for the owner’s account. Owners must also arrange for the installation. Cats must be confined inside the owner’s cottage at all times.
