Security features include:

We have 24/7 manned security at the entrance/exit of the village, and pro-active foot perimeter patrols operate from 6pm to 6am.The access control system has recently been updated to offer our residents easy access, while we have strict access control measures in place for visitors and contractors.

A 1.8-meter high vibracrete perimeter fence which is fully electrified, protects the village. There are 20 intelligent analytical CCTV cameras. The fence serves as the base deterrent for criminal activities, making it extremely difficult to gain unauthorised access. The perimeter fence is patrolled from 6pm to 6am every day and reacts to fence and camera alarms in conjunction with a security response team in the area.

  • There are restricted access times and areas for contractors and other controlled visitors.A tactical armed reaction unit operates outside the borders of the estate.
  • There is a medical emergency service.
  • A speed limit of 20km/h operates within the village.
  • CCTV cameras are installed at high-risk areas along the perimeter fence, and at both entrances/exits to monitor incoming and outgoing vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
  • Intelligent CCTV analytics include handheld electronic scanning and decrypting of visitor vehicle license discs and drivers’ licenses.
Access Control
The access/exit gate into the village is via the Harvey Road gate for both vehicles and pedestrians, and is manned by our security company. Any non-resident must be officially registered to pass through the gates. Visitors and contractors are reminded to have their driver’s licence or ID with them as no access will be permitted to persons without a form of identification.

Reaction / Rapid Response Team
A reaction/rapid response team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to react to intrusions, emergencies, or any other disturbances. Residents must report any case of emergency such as unlawful entry, fire, and disturbances to security/management. The trained security staff can deal with the situation 24 hours a day.

Armed response
There is 24-hour monitoring of intruder alarms from our control room. Mobile response units, with fully trained and armed officers, act as reaction units.

Speeding and Signage
There are well-signposted speed limits in the village which are enforced for everybody’s safety. There is a maximum speed limit in the village of 20 km/h. Many residents walk daily on the village roads, and many are hard at hearing and may not be aware of a vehicle behind them.
