Sandown Village has its own kitchen, located in the amenities centre, which caters for Medcare and village residents. It provides wholesome and delicious meals in attractive surroundings at very reasonable prices. If you prefer to enjoy your meals in the comfort of your own home, our home delivery service is available. This service is especially useful for residents who may have medical reasons or are unable to come to the dining room for meals. A nominal charge is levied for each delivery.
Garden / Housekeeping
Residents have the option to make use of garden and housekeeping services, available Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 15h30. Bookings can be made at the admin office.
Maintenance Department
Our dedicated maintenance team is responsible for the upkeep and general maintenance of our beautiful village. They also handle maintenance tasks such as replacing common property lighting, repairing windows and frames, maintaining walkways, and undertaking various small maintenance projects around the village.
Laundry
Sandown Village has its own in-house laundry service, which not only caters to Medcare and the kitchen but is also available, at a reasonable cost, to residents who prefer not to do their own laundry.
Guest Cottage
For the convenience of residents' friends and families, Sandown Village offers a guest cottage that can accommodate up to four people (with a double bed and sleeper couch). Breakfast in the dining room is provided. The cottage is also equipped with tea-making facilities and is fully equipped for self-catering if needed. Booking is essential for residents who wish to make use of this facility for a short or more extended stay.
